[Philadelphia. Within a report on the death of Miss Nelly
Montgomery, 19 years old]
  Mature for heaven, the fatal mandate came;
  With it, a chariot of etherial flame,
  In which, Elijah like, she past the spheres,
  Brought joy to heaven, but left the world in tears
Her remains were interr'd yesterday morning in the
Presbyterian church yard in Arch street, attended by a large
number of the most respectable inhabitants in this city.
  There shall her grave with rising flowers be dress'd,
  And the green turf lie lightly on her breast,
  While angels with their silver wings o'er shade
  The ground, now sacred by her reliques made.
